15 years of AOP Peaches and apricots from France
Peaches and apricots of France* invites its distributor and wholesaler customers to celebrate its 15th anniversary in Perpignan, on Tuesday April 25, the day before MEDFEL.
Placed under the sign of “trust”, the event will give participants the opportunity to look back on the progress made, and to launch new avenues for future collaborations.
In the current period of great uncertainty, between economic, social crisis and inflation, the producers also invite their partners to share a few moments of reflection, exchanges and conviviality. In the afternoon, the visit of an orchard will allow to discover in detail the work of farmers, agroecological techniques and the “eco-responsible orchards” approach.
The day will continue with an exchange meeting, and moments of conviviality for these 15 years of work, passion and commitment.
*The AOP Peaches and apricots of France has 55 member companies, bringing together nearly 600 arboriculturists, 80% of the production of peaches-nectarines and 60 to 70% of French apricots. The mission of the Association of Producer Organizations is to coordinate the actions of producers, from research and development to the promotion of fruit. Close partnerships with the downstream of the sector, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, collective catering and industrialists have helped to find a balance for the majority of farms.
