medFEL 2021 adapts to events and launches a new online appointment
For more 10 years, the Fruit & Vegetable community has been congregating in France’s Occitania region at medFEL, a venue for exchange and meetings between the sector’s professionals. medFEL’s status is that of a business development tool that facilitates connections between exhibitors & visitors and a fertile source of information and content, with key highlights including the announcement of harvest forecasts and a whole series of debates and round tables on topical issues.
In response to societal expectations and environmental challenges, companies in the Fruit & Vegetable sector are today obliged to strive to meet consumer demands related to sustainability, CSR, environmental protection, zero pesticide residue, etc.
In May 2021, medFEL will connect to the sector with a weekly online appointment: Welcome to medFEL Tuesdays!
A new, short & efficient format allowing to communicate on the right dates the European forecast for summer fruit and vegetable harvests.
Every Tuesday, a two-part program will be offered to the professionals of the sector: opening up on harvest forecasts, then webinars led by experts around key themes such as changes in consumer behavior, e-commerce and marketing issues. drive, organic, agro-ecology & labels.
The mission of medFEL is twofold. Firstly, it aims to bring together all the stakeholders in the Fruit & Vegetable sector from throughout the supply chain around these consumer trends and topical issues.
Secondly, its goal is to allow professionals to present and discover products and services in connection with these essential themes: environmental protection labels, new packaging, product quality certification laboratories, eco-aware logistics, etc.
