As part of the merger of the Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon regions, the professionals and networks of the region had the ambition to create a single interprofessional organic association that would meet both the demands of institutions and the challenges of developing organic farming in the Occitanie region: Interbio Occitanie.
Interbio Occitanie comprises all the actors historically involved in the development of organic farming in Occitanie:
– Bio Occitanie – Regional Federation of Organic Agriculture;
– Occitanie Regional Chamber of Agriculture;
– Coop de France Occitanie;
– OCEBIO – Occitanie Organic Businesses;
– SudVinBio.
The shared ambition of professionals is to promote the sustainable development of organic farming in Occitanie. It therefore organizes dialogue between all stakeholders in the organic sector in order to structure, promote, and defend organic farming for all.
