Organic certification is the new focus of the entire fruit and vegetable sector, which is undergoing reorganization, particularly under the influence of the EGALIM law. With the objective – among others – of promoting healthy, safe, and sustainable food for all, it aims to ensure the availability of sustainable or labeled products (including organic products) in public institutional catering since January 1, 2022.
