1. TECHNICAL GUIDE FOR EXHIBITORS
You must read the Technical guide for exhibitors once you have chosen the arrangements for your stand (space only or turnkey stand, stand allocated to an association, shared or individual) and have sent us your registration form. The guide is a vital part of your preparations for the event.
It brings together and presents:- General information (including contact people, invitations, communications...)
- Exhibiting information (including overall schedule, parking, delivery, security...).
- Technical services (including stand fittings and practical arrangements).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The forms contained in the guide and required by the organisers, (the Commissariat Général) must be returned within the stated deadlines (see FORMS section).
2. YOUR PROFILE IN THE MEDFEL 2010 CATALOGUE
IN YOUR MEMBERS’ AREA BEFORE 6PM ON 6TH APRIL:
COMPLETE / MODIFY YOUR CATALOGUE PROFILE so that you appear:
- In the official catalogue given to visitors.
- On the exhibitors list on the website.
3. EXHIBITOR BADGES
IN YOUR MEMBERS’ AREA BEFORE 6PM ON 6 APRIL
ENTER EXHIBITOR BADGE INFORMATION: Register the names that will appear on your exhibitor badges. You will then be able to COLLECT THE BADGES ON ARRIVAL at the fair in the exhibitor reception desk.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Entry for visitors with e-badges or invitations is free. Visitors who do not have e-badges or an invitation can register at the trade fair but must pay a €20 entrance fee (inclusive of tax) and provide proof of professional ID.

5. MEDFEL 2010 BUSINESS CONVENTION
Exhibiting at MEDFEL this year means that not only are you taking part in a professional trade fair and its programme, but also in a business convention!
a. WITH INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
The Languedoc-Roussillon region have enlisted 100 VIP international fruit and vegetable buyers and companies seeking transport / logistics solutions, through UBIFRANCE and the Economic Missions. These buyers will select a number of exhibitors by checking out their business convention profiles. You can then accept or refuse their request for a meeting.
BEFORE 6PM ON 6 APRIL:
COMPLETE / MODIFY YOUR BUSINESS CONVENTION PROFILE: This in-depth profile of your company will enable registered buyers to work out if they want to request a meeting with you as part of the business convention.
b. BETWEEN EXHIBITORS
At the request of exhibitors at the last MEDFEL, we are offering you the chance to meet your fellow exhibitors via pre-scheduled business meetings.
12 APRIL – 21 APRIL (BEFORE NOON):
REQUEST BUSINESS CONVENTION MEETINGS: You can request business meetings with other exhibitors via the members’ area during this period.
c. ORGANISING YOUR BUSINESS MEETINGS SCHEDULE
WEEK 16:
All you have to do is ACCEPT OR REFUSE REQUESTS FOR BUSINESS MEETINGS received from buyers or other exhibitors.
We will then organise your meetings schedule taking into account both requests for meetings from buyers and exhibitors that you have accepted and requests you have made for meetings with exhibitors that have also been accepted.
6. INFORMAL BUSINESS MEETINGS (OUTSIDE THE BUSINESS CONVENTION)
As at the previous trade fair, visitors can request an informal meeting with exhibitors via the To Visit / Online business meetings section.The contact details of visitors wishing to meet you at your stand will be sent to you by email.
You can then decide whether or not to follow up these openings, for example by agreeing to meet at your stand outside the business convention.
PLEASE NOTE: These requests will not be included in the business convention meetings schedule. Instead, this is a way of bringing people into contact when preparing for the fair.
PRIMORDIAL : If you will be alone on your stand representing your company, please let MEDFEL know the time slots during which you have made informal appointments and will therefore not be available for the business convention, so that we can take this into account when creating your business convention schedule.
